The only thing that can make scrapbooking more enjoyable is to attend one of Legacy Scrapbooks' terrific events!
Scrap-A-Thon
The Best Crop event you will ever attend! Our Scrap-A-Thon is an all day event with registration beginning at 8am and scheduled events start at 9am and we go until midnight! When you arrive you will receive a goodie bag filled with fun products! We have several Make & Takes (6-8), hourly drawings, hourly games, raffles and a Grand Prize! Included in your $100 fee are all of your meals for the day, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We have snacks and beverages available all day to keep you going. And let's not forget the chocolate and dessert. We host this event twice a year. In 2008 our events are scheduled for May 17th and October 4th. Our May 17th event is full (however, we are taking names for our wait list) and we are taking names for our October 4th event.
Bus Tour
Join us for a bus tour to other stores in the area. On April 19th we are taking a trip to Stampers Cupboard and Serendipity. At each location you will do a fun project and have something to eat. We will be planning a fall bus tour to two new locations. Stay tuned for details.
Purse Party!
Join us on April 26th (2:30 - 5:30) for a Purse Party where you decorate your own purse. You will start with a blank purse from Pursue Your Art!, then you select the papers and embellishments to make it uniquely you. The cost for this event is just $46.50 and will you have a $5.00 class allowance to pick out the papers you like. Please call to reserve your spot.
Card Marathon
Twice a year we have an event where we make approximately 15 cards in a day. We host this event on a Sunday from 11:00 until 5:00. We had our first Card Marathon in January and we did all occasion cards. Our next Card Marathon is scheduled for July 27th and we will be doing Holiday cards.
Wedding Show
Something new from Legacy Scrapbooks on Sunday, June 1st from Noon until 4pm. We want to help you make your wedding as beautiful and unique as you are. Join us for our open house to see all that you can do with scrapbook supplies to make your wedding truly special. We will have ideas for Save the Date, Invitations, Place Cards, Programs, Table Favors, Guest Books, Center Pieces, Card Boxes and so much more! In addition to our great ideas we thought we would invite some of our local businesses to showcase what they can do for you too! Looking for a hall, a caterer, the perfect cake, wine, or a florist?
Crops
Looking for time to get away and work on your scrapbooks or cards? Join us for a Crop Session either Wednesday 10:00 until 5:00, or on Friday from 3:00 until Midnight. The cost is $15 and includes your lunch/dinner, snacks and beverages. Please call ahead to reserve your seat.
Summer Scrapbook Camp
Join us on Monday's from 10:00 until 2:00 from June 16 through July 21. Each week the kids will complete two 8x8 page layouts and learn a new technique in the process. At the end of the camp they will have completed a great 8x8 Friends/Summer album. We will use the 'Bind-It All!' machine to put the book together. They will need to have their own adhesive for the class. Camp is available for kids 9 years and older. Due to food allergies each child should bring their own lunch. In order to help us prepare for camp we are asking everyone to register prior to June 6th. The Cost is $60.00.
